Well, everyone is entitled to an opinion. That is one thing that is great about our country. There will always be people willing to put there life on the line to defend the Constitution, and equally, there will be people who will not. The lack of mandatory military service is something that many anti-war critics relish, for they can continue to degrade and slander the Commander-in-Chief of our armed forces. 70% of Americans, as of right now, approve of the conflict in the Iraq. As for me, i respect every individual's right to protest, however it is futile. Politicians, Generals, never changed there mind because of a damn sign. As for killing, we are not killing people for oil. A gross inaccuracy made by many, the purpose of the United States military is to, and i quote "Support and defend the Constitution of the United States, from all enemies, foreign and domestic." That is not to be taken lightly, as i have taken that oath to support and defend. You an say what you want about Bush....I highly doubt that he cares what you think. ( ... )

Motive you ask?...Today reports have come out that the United States Military has found caches of NBC weapons. I believe that our reason for war has been justified. For the UN, for the past 12 years, Saddam has not been truthful or forthcoming with information pertaining to his weapons program. I know that, you know that. Regardless of the efficiency of the Inspections, you cannot inspect what is hidden. Sure, lets give them another 12 years...the atomic bomb was developed in less time than that. What is to keep Saddam from developing more weapons, killng his own people. Or do you not recall when he gased his own citizens for uprising. I guess diplomacy can solve that problem. As you say "in order for the army to protect the freedoms of the USA, they strip its members of all their rights." If you are referring to the United States Army, which you are, and United States Soldiers, which you are, then you have absolutely no concept of selfless service or sacrifice. It's easy for a long haired fag to oppose war, comment on war, slander ( ... )

To call anti-war protesters ignorant is just wrong. Did you forget about Vietnam? Did you agree with that fiasco? Ok, I love the fact that we have anti-war protesters because that proves that America is a DEMOCRACY and people have the right to their own opinions and the right to express them. People are always called ignorant because they dont agree with what that person believes in. You just said that Saddam gassed his own people for uprising, would you suggest that the president gas these "ignorant" people also ( ... )

The question on my mind is:

If there was a draft, would you go? Even if you are in college?
