Tomorrow I leave for a 5-day trip to Michigan to see my family. In the meantime, I still don't have a job, Brendan's tour was canceled and he's looking for extra work too. Adulthood is ridiculous.

However.

I am completely in love.
Tomorrow I will see my family.
A week from today I will be laying in my bed with my cat.

Life isn't so bad.

In four days I will leave Maine. Maybe for now, maybe forever. In four days I will board a train in Portland, and take the trip back to Boston, where Brendan will meet me in the train station. Then we will go to my new apartment ( Read more... )

A few random thoughts:

-Death is just a dormant virus.

-Chocolate doesn't solve problems, and certainly doesn't speed up time. Why do I want it so bad?

-Three months is a very long time.

Today I received my Masters degree from one of the top music conservatories in the country. I am now a Master of Music. The speaker was Benjamin Zander, who spoke about so many things I want to remember. I have my diploma. It's insane ( Read more... )
