So far my week has had both its sweet and sour moments.

One of the sweet ones is that this week and next we’re doing inventory and withdrawing old books. The library is badly in need of this, we have not done inventory for about seven years. I haven’t helped with much beyond deleting the withdrawn ones from the system, but hopefully that’ll change.

GO TO JAPAN!

Japanese is an awesome language, even if you don't think you'll need it, and is so totally worth being good at. Plus, it's so interesting. The speech is so influenced by the culture... Not to mention all the different combinations of kanji. *has hearts in her eyes* 日本語は素晴らし。。。Please don't quit. You'll hurt it's feelings.

Is the 67 a percentage? If so, that doesn't seem that bad to me... But I agree the best way to learn a language is to live in the country of origin. But another good way that I'm using is to immerse yourself in it in other ways. I talk Japanese as much as I can, even to people who don't speak it or to myself, and sometimes I'll try to think in Japanese. Watching shows or reading in Japanese is surprisingly helpful as well, even if you use subtitles. Seriously, that's not just an excuse to watch anime fansubs, it really helps.

But then again the choice is your own, I suppose. *sigh*

67 out of 100. 70 is passing, everything below that is failing. Last semester I failed Japanese, no credit at all, so I'm kind discouraged.

And yeah, I know all the points you're making.

*Hugs* I know how you feel, hon. Really, I do. Just... hang in there. And it's almost over and all.

At least you apparently don't have the "you have to pass ALL courses AND all electives to graduate" thing... -_- 'tis stressful.

I need four years of English, three years of math, two years of foreign language, one year of a tech class, one and a half years of PE, half a year of speech, half a year of Health, three years of history, half a year of government, half a year of economics, year of art, and then a bunch of electives to add up to a total of 24 credits.

I was one credit below being a senior during my Junior Spring semester, and this is with failing a couple classes.

And yeah, cannot wait to be out of here. ._.
