Well...I'm home.

Somebody totally lifted my backpack at the Copenhagen train station today.  Everything important was in my H&M canvas bag over my shoulder, but my fleece-lined goretex is history.  And so is the down vest I borrowed from another girl.  It happened SO FAST.  Four of us split a cab to the station.  We unloaded the cab, I had never taken my messenger ( Read more... )

Bastards! I shout it in solidarity with you at the gall of the miserable soandso's. Sorry your trip had to end on such a sour note. But look, home, own shower, OWN BED! :-)

All is good again and you didn't lose the important stuff in your "totally never taking it off again" messenger bag. I mean and now you have a really good excuse not to do the washing :-) or is that a weird thought?

Welcome back :-)

I cannot tell you how glorious my sleep was last night. It was epic. EPIC, I say!

Welcome home sunshine. I can not believe that someone stole your back pack. What is wrong with these people. I think I would be pissed for a long while, which is pretty stupid, because there would be nothing I could do about it.

Anyway glad you have made it home safe and sound.

Yeah, I tried to get over it pretty fast. Because, really, there's not a damn thing I could have done once it was over. I did get a little upset later, but that was mostly because I hate planes and while part of me really wanted to go home, the other half wanted to stay in Greenland forever and ever and ever.

Welcome home. Sorry about the backback, and the smell coming from the kitchen.

No matter how good it is to get away, there's nothing like your own bed.

there's nothing like your own bed.

No. Shit.

Words cannot describe what it was like to crawl into bed with MY cotton jersey sheets and MY thin comforter and MY mattress... And lo, it was good.

Ah yes, the beautiful to-do-list. Unfortunately, it just seems to be getting longer. Whatever. Today I have to go to the post office and pick up two months of mail. Should be fun!

*hugs*

...Still, no place like home huh? Well welcome back anyway! Sucks that your bag got stolen. Not cool.
Take care. =)

Thanks for the welcome back!

I'm almost over the loss of the bag. It was definitely NOT COOL, but there's nothing I can do about it anymore. *serenity now*
