Kings

You know, I'm really irritated by network television and its tendency to foster new obsessions that it subsequently takes away.

You know, I think what I actually liked about the way BSG treated god in the early seasons was that BSG dealt more with belief, and what a person's beliefs may impel them to do, than with an actual deity. I wish they'd kept that up, instead of throwing in the other crap. 4.5 just offends me intellectually. Lol.

I liked the belief idea they had too. also the fact that they associated belief with craziness. On the one hand, they showed belief/god as a strong force in an individual's life, and then they showed how other people could interpret that as everyone being nuts ( ... )

I was just thinking about Kings yesterday and hoping the last ep is still up on hulu, as I never saw it. Still irked at NBC for their horrid job of grasping what they had and how to promote it.

I know. It just makes me sad because Kings succeeded as a thought provoking show and was canceled, while shows like Grey's Anatomy and Desperate House Wives have hung on for 4-5 years.

*sigh* I just want a little more from my pretty/messed up people. I love it when they get involved in politics. West Wing did well. Why couldn't they give this one a chance?

le sigh.
