Did I eat a bowl of Stupid for breakfast? No, but I had a glass of Spock for dinner last night.

Got three Spock glasses last time I went to BK, one for me, one to send to Stuie, and one for Chaz.  Funny enough, when I ended up at the bonfire/cookout Chaz held at her house last night, she had bought me a Spock and a Nero, bless her heart.  Now I have two extra Spock glasses.  Beuller?  Anyone?  Now, all I need is a Kirk and a Nero for Stuie, ( Read more... )

Yeah, it is a good show. I think anything that separates Trek from Shatner is a good thing. His commercials may be funny in a campy sort of way, but the man has made a living with acting that's become a joke. Old School Trekkies are actually complaining that the movie has made Trek too accessible to non-fans. Pleh. If they could have gotten away with some of the stuff they did in this movie in the 60's, they totally would have.

Green tea is supposed to be good for you anyway, and it's used in a lot of diet supplements, so there may be something to it. It's also something I like, and something I can drink instead of soda. But I agree that most miracle diets make me detect bullshit.

I dunno, six glasses of anything (except maybe water) a day doesn’t sound like a very good idea. Decrease calorie intake! Increase calorie expenditure! Lifestyle changes lifestyle changes lifestyle changes! (Yeah, that’s all I got out of my nutrition class.)

The influx of Spock icons on my f-list fills me with glee. Glee I say! And yours seems pretty accurate, I must agree.

They aren't glasses, just cups, so it's more like 2 1/2 to 3 glasses a day. My major lifestle change is cutting down on soda, swearing off fast food for a while, and eating breakfast. I don't normally do that.

Spock=Glee, though I'm kinda fond of nu!Sulu, too.

Ah, the soda trap. Cutting back on that actually did wonders for me, hope you get the same results!

And I’m in love with the whole bridge crew from that movie. Especially Chekov! Eeeee.

Chekov was so bright and guileless and excited about everything. :)

He's also about five miles of adorable covered in a metric ton of "d'awww" finished off with blatant big eyes.

I'm 32, and he makes me feel like such a cougar.

that icon is out-standing. lmao. have you seen ontd_startrek? it's loltastik. just sayin.

idk about green tea but we're all like half the size we were last summer. no fucking lie. we don't go out like ever, really, to eat. we have lots of chicken salads, but they're really yummy with lots of chickens. not much bread or pasta. no soda. i've srsly lost like 60 lbs.
