I'm getting addicted to challenges. This time, it's The Time Challenge. I've picked "May, H/G, fic". Of course, Read and Review, okay? I would rate it "PG-13", just in case. Checked by bianca_black.

May
May, Ginny once had read, was named in honor of the Greek goddess Maia, daughter of Atlas and mother of Hermes. She never really understood much about Greek mythology - and she never knew who Maia was, but it didn't matter. It was the first day of May - and the morning dawn was full of possibilities. Some of the eldest used to say that the dew of that day had magical properties; some of the youngest thought they were just mental. But, for a strange reason, Ginny Weasley agreed with her parents on that.

It was a typical spring dawn - and the lazy sun seemed to feel a bit insecure about wheter or not to appear on the sky. It was a cool morning outside The Burrow - but in Ginny's room, it was fiery. Harry was back. After a year of adventure and three others of training, he was back.

He arrived with the first sunshine and reached the moist earth on the grounds of The Burrow. He apparated to her bedroom and sat by her bedside.

"Morning", he said, kissing her forehead. "I know it's early, but I wanted you to know I'm back"

The red-haired girl sat up and looked straight at his bright big green eyes behind the round lenses she had learned to love. The scar was also there, the black messy hair… It was too good to big true, much more than she could deal with by that time of the day.

"And…is it for good this time?"

Harry bent his body over hers and brought his mouth close to her ear. His hot breath against her cold skin made her shiver.

"It's for good"

Without thinking, she turned over and kissed him, emotions running wild. The time for self-control and reason was past and she only wanted to enjoy the present. To enjoy this moment with her Harry. Soon, his robes and her pajamas were extremely inconveniences. Hands searched their ways on the other's body, discovering, caressing, feeling. Ginny found herself lying in her bed and not wondering where Harry would be - she could see him (without glasses now) right above her and staring at her face with a clear smile.

"I'd almost forgotten how wonderful you are", he whispered, kissing her softly.

"Than, by Merlin's beard, it's very good to have you back", she spoke softly. Her eyes were bright with excitement and joy. "And we won't need to wait much more for our sunlit days…"

"You're my sun", he answered, sounding so tacky Ginny had to laugh. "What? Muggle women like hearing this kind of thing…"

"Oh, really?" said Ginny, cocking an eyebrow.

She got up her elbows and her face was inches apart from Harry's. All efforts on looking upset would vanish away with his explanations, she knew, but it was funny to see The-Boy-Who-Lived trying to figure out a way from his own verbal mess.

"So I heard… Living with the Dursley’s for a while gave me a really deep insight into muggle culture", he said, a bit nervous.

"I'll let that go for now, but only because I can't stand the fact that we're still talking"

Two Breathes became one and bodies entwined. It was the first day of May - and the morning dawn was full of possibilities.
