So what started as an innocent enough conversation with me mocking my two interns -- who are maybe 22, 23 years old -- about watching the new Twilight saga movie or whatever ended up with the discovery that one of my intern's friend hooked up with ASkars last month. Seriously ( Read more... )

HA! On the one hand, good for him because really, he needs to see people who are. not. actresses. Because actresses will do him no good, seriously. Also, it's cliched.

Otoh, presuming your intern's friend is the same age as her...ain't 22/23 a little young? I know, I know - men - but still.

I obligingly told her that she should watch Generation Kill (like I need an excuse to tell people to watch it, but hey, I'm not one to miss an opportunity!)

AWESOME.

I ponder whether I should tell her his name, surname, nationality, filiation, age etc., or if I should stick with a yes. I mean, I didn't want to scare the poor girl.

AHAHAHA!

First thing I thought was "hah, he got himself a Brazilian rebound" (well, no, first thing I thought was something like NO-FUCKING-WAY!). But I mean, good for him. Travelling around, doing tourist-y things, hooking up with normal girls. Should do him good.

I too thought about the age gap, though to be honest, I didn't ask the girl's age - we were already leaving the office when she told us the story, like, no big deal. But yes, men. :)
