My plans on watching Southland this last weekend were abated by sleep. Lots of sleep. I had nothing to do, really, so I just caught up with sleep. It sounded pretty logical to me at the time.

Besides, I'm still watching Generation Kill episodes with audio commentaries (YAY, DVD!) and reading Fick's book, so my attention was understandably divided

It's funny that the two new cop shows that I decided to watch this season are so different. The Unusuals is adorable in its weirdness, while Southland is more serious and oh! shock!, you know? Yeah. I liked Southland, though. It just wasn't love, let alone at first sight. Because it's only seven episodes, I'm willing to watch it all - I mean, if I managed to watch Merlin, which I hated in the later episodes, I'm sure I'll do OK with it.

Plus, Regina King is awesome. And Ben Mackenzie is hot. And is wearing a uniform. Rowr. [/14]

Also, also, Fake!Kocher! *pets* [I've been watching so much behind the scene!GK that when I think of Kocher, I can't help but think of the real one. Good thing that for Brad and Nate, I can differentiate them like this: there's Brad and Nate (from the miniseries), and there's Colbert and Fick (the real ones). Totally.]

Por que cargas d'água vc acha que eu vi The Faculty? Super não vi e não gostei. Odeio esse tipo de filme. O cara que fez o Bryant continua sendo um Zé Mané qualquer que eu nunca vi na vida - mas tirando a mulher dele, eu gostei do personagem. Um pouquinho.

Eu achei as histórias da Regina King meio cliché - primeiro uma criança, depois um bebê; tipo, oi, é a única mulher detetive, LOGO todas as histórias relacionadas a útero vão para ela. *roll eyes* Mas eu gosto tanto da atriz que eu respiro fundo e ignoro.
