Did not win Best Crossover over at the 2009 cmfanficawards. Oh well. I got more than two votes (me, my beta) so that's pretty awesome. And considering it was my first attempt to write a big fic, I'm still really pleased with how the story turned out. Also, it has a kickass sequel and is rapidly evolving into a 'verse. I dread the return of academia to my life. I have exactly six days of freedom left, and damned if I'm not going to squander them.

WORLD DOMINATION, BWHAHAHAHA! Crack fic will rule them all! Hmmm, there should totally be a comm/challenge to encourage more cm crack/AUs- this fandom has way too few.

I was pretty surprised at the stuff of mine that won, so I had a little bit of a freak-out moment.

A crack!fic comm would be a good idea, I think. Definitely merits further discussion.

And next Tuesday I go back to Uni to start my fourth year as a Psychological Science/Criminology and Criminal Justice undergraduate. The excitement should last all of six seconds before I realise I really don't want to be attending lectures.

Congrats on studying something with a practical application! And yeah, lectures suck but at least you can usually bring a laptop if things get really bad. Good luck with everything!

Is the fourth year your last (like the U.S system)?

Once the two weeks from hell get done with (or maybe sooner depending on how much my mind tries to get away from the subject material) I'll PM you about such a comm. I think it'd be fun (we could run challenges on the comm O.O)

And who cares about the rest of the world anyways? We know it was the best (I read some of the others, definitely not as good).
