I read all but one of the Sookie Stackhouse series and I LOVE IT. I want to see True Blood though. :C

The vampire politics is kinda explained better in the books...? I dunno. (ugh don't compare it to that crap twilight. it came out way before twilight.)
HAHA I know I never meant to compare it that way it's just the plot plus the timing for the HBO series was too coincidental you know? Maybe the producers thought that after Twilight now would be a good time to adapt another vampire book or something. Anything though is better than S.Meyer's writing skills.
Yes Eric is very good looking... and very swedish. Bill's accent in the show also confuses me. It always comes and goes inbetween his lines.
During the first season, the actor that played Rene had such a good Cajun accent. I'm sad that he's passed.
