Ummm, wow, thanks. I've done the occasional opinion column, and you may want to check the rest of my "rant" tags (and feel free to disseminate links to anyone else), but time is really the limiting factor. Maybe in the future, but I'll likely just keep doing this kind of thing.

Good stuff, man. Couldn't help but notice you missed something that stuck out to me like a sore thumb, though. It's in the eighth load of Newt, the one about the partisan political process holding things up. The first couple sentences are a thinly veiled snipe at all non-Conservatives, the ones that he sees as holding up the mainstream solutions. Newt and his fellow Elder Wyrms of the Conservative movement think that the way they think IS the mainstream.

Don't forget to wipe your Gingrich.

You're right about his sniping at Dems with the partisanism crack - I saw that as a potshot at politicians in general, but yeah, it was likely more specifically directed. Everybody blames the other guy for not wanting to get along and play nice.
