Been trying to keep busy

Well, I've been trying to keep myself sane by keeping myself busy between applying for unemployment and new jobs.

OMG, I never even thought about trying to knit something out of those level line cords. I used to make special requests from the builders (whilst we were remodelling our home a few years ago) for using purple! I know they come in lots of cool colours and it never even entered my mind that they could be used for other things, dolt that I am LOL. And one of the guys showed up with purple cord, just for moi!!!

And, oi-- size 35 needles!!! I have some, but have yet to use them. The largest I've used have been like 18 for some brushed kid mohair-- made for a very lacey shawl, but dangerous cos my doggies would snuggle in it and get it all tangled and pull out stitiches :-( They just did that to an alpaca shawl I laboured on for ages. Oh well... life with critters.

On the jobs front, I have it on good authority that Specialty Books is looking for a new sysadmin/network manager.
