We all have to leave the child we were behind

Mother and father made me join them for a walk today. We drove to the river and walked alongside it. It is a popular path, so we met a lot of people, and saw a lot of birds. Ducks and geese, mostly in couples, were everywhere. They make funny noises. :3 ( Read more... )

Me gone teary too... I don't wanna grow up! Do you remember the Ice Princess that we were so afraid of? And the car with those big, yellow eyes? And the times we played Onkel Skrue og Gulbrand Gråstein *laughs* And ElfQuest! I remember Skywise so well, he was my favourite! *all teary* All those emories we want to go back to, but we know we can't. I guess everyone goes through this phase, but... I fell there are only a few of us who feel it like this.

We surtainly had a wonderful childhood! And if I'll have a kid, I'll too let her sit on the grass and watch out at the horizon and the life that'll grow around her. If there still is an earth then. Maybe she's destroyed. Mankind isn't so good with her as we should be.

I'm sure your child will have the chance to live a wonderful life, the way we have.

Do I remember? I remember all of it, every embarassing detail. ;D
I remember we got the entire class to play Elfquest with us, and I remember we ate crackers under a blanket on your veranda. And I remember trying to train your kitten to do circus tricks. (Poor, poor kitten)
