I tried to beat a storm today, and wheeled out the yellow bike and made a dash for the first road.

( gear genius, or rather just stubborn luck )

Speaking of bubble machines--there were people using them at NARAM as thermal detectors--they look for updrafts that raise the bubbles as a sign to launch duration models.
