I'm behind in updating folks on Patty since I've been under the weather. Tom_Caesar , her foster dad, and her foster brother Gordie are anxious to know what the heck is going on. Well, here we go

Hugs to patty - and of course Lance. And Yay for Patty now having a great "mommy".

Sad to hear about the duster - not to mention the broken tail!, but it is good you discovered before schooling her.

*doesn't understand how people can do that to animals.. may that person be attacked by dusters until they bust something important! Ok maybe a street sweeper would be more pointed a lesson..

Poor little Patty! Our dog Sally is a mutt that we picked up from the pound. She was about 2 then and we have had her for 6 years. Based on paperwork we were given, we believe that we are her 3rd owner. One of the originals did not treat her right. She is great around 99% of people. But I have one friend who is a total sweetheart that she will not stop barking at. He is a large man, in his 50's, and balding. Our suspicion is that one of the other owners was abusive and resembled poor Richard (who dog and cat sits for us even though Sally barks at him) and she takes it out on him.

I hope Patty can get past her terror of the duster.

It breaks my heart to think she was so mistreated, but I feel like with you she got her happy ending. Eventually she'll know it too.
