Last of the Time Lords
Good lord, or should I say glory hallelujah. After two boffo finale episodes, that last one sucked.
I knew Rusty had gone off the rails when I accidentally saw the spoiler pic of the little golem Doctor poking his head out of the suit. BTW, where did he get the little suit? Nevermind. People told me Rusty has problems with story resolutions. I also knew there had to be reset after killing 1/10th of the Earth's population and all the pain and suffering for a year. After all, the Doctor would find his fave humans and planet to be a bit of a bummer after that. When I think about it I should not have been surprised by the Doctor's godlike resurrection, but geez louise. One can only hope this lonely god messiah thing Rusty has going on for the Doctor to be finally finished. Jack is the Face of Boe? Oh for crying out loud. Do not want!
Jack's saluting the Doctor and Martha didn't cut it for me. He needed to snog the Doctor, Martha at the very least. Rusty, you're doing it wrong!
I was put out that Martha opted to get out, although the epiphany about the whole unrequited love thing was sorely needed. Of course he had to let her go, GIT. The Doctor needs his ass kicked. But Rusty had better have done a Tegan here; I want Martha back for S4.
I also knew the episode had to end on an upbeat note, hence the now traditional what - WHAT? , nevermind how the Titantic managed to physically breach the TARDIS. Martha won't be in the Christmas Special damnit.
