Been a little hectic in the first few weeks for 2006 so far. Adjusting to not being at SBC is taking a little more effort than I had imagined - to borrow a phrase from yet another company I've worked for in the past, I can't seem to shake the SBC Taint. Can't you work from home, er, um laptop while you're up visiting us?

I hear what you're saying about work changing us. Sometimes I look in the mirror and don't recognize myself. Pretty farging scary.

I guess you and I can sit in the "I wanted to be at the tourney" virtual sad corner together.

But, yeah, work does alter the persona.

I am far less idealistic, and that isn't just the passage of time. They say that if you can really reach one kid, you can make a world of difference, but, hey, the other kids can really drag you down. *L*
