Ouroboros Round Robin - 6.1
Generation SIX! The Ouborororsosossosorosorsrorososes come to the rather demented world of Jo's version of Belladonna Cove.

So our generation six heir, Serena, was chosen nearly unanimously and I gleefully downloaded her and transplanted her into my game. However, since I don't have the same alien skin defaults, I don't have her original skin - I had to choose the nearest thing, which was a sort of pretty pastelly teal green. I gave her a bit of a softer adult makeover, and here she is:
The lovely Serena Ouroboros (care of simsforaranya ^^), a romance/family sim whose lifetime want is to become a ROCK GAAWD. Which we will hopefully achieve!
And here is her house - I was sort of inspired by my new place, which is a kind of retro, vintage fifties cottagey thing. I left the front garden empty because GAH, plants = effort. And I expect I'll have a trillion babies to tend to with a part family sim, so plants can be kept to a bare minimum.
Serena had a brief perusal of the newspaper, but no music jobs today :(
(That's her athletic outfit btw... lol I really inexplicably love it, in all it's hoodie shortie jumpsuit glory :x)
The welcome wagon rocks up, and in typical my-neighbourhoods style, it's chock full of fail. A semi-pretty girl, an old guy... and Zapf Kreechur, who's kind of... yeah... really awkward looking >__<
Well actually, maybe not TOTALLY full of fail. This chick, Ellen Jones, lives with a couple of dudes who I think are at least reasonably attractive. *Butters up* If we be sneaky and do an invite household, we could have a husbando for our little Serena in no time :)
Searching for a job on the new, free computer (thanks Mr Humble :D)... maybe Serena will be a bit more successful this time.
And WOO! Exactly what the doctor ordered >:3 Our scheme is falling into place, my children... mwa ha ha.. MWOOOAHAHAHAHAH!

(Heeey... is it just me or does that carpool driver look suspiciously like the well-schnozed bus driver of the Kreechur kiddles? Hmmm!)
Yay promotion! But eeurgh... lol it's so weird seeing the first promotion jump. Bonus of $372.. so miniscule compared to the $2500+ bonuses they start getting closer to the end of the career path.

Serena plays a little on her piano to while away the time while her neighbours wander over from... NEXT DOOR. Yeah, literally... if you see a giant greyish house in some of the screenies that's Ellen's place ^^
Hmm, not too bad. This is Henrik. A little bit frowny, but ALL my sims end up frowny :( I still can't get used to how you make a sim in create a family to look totally normal and pretty and :), and then you put them in game and they're kind of :(. I fail at making sims >_<
And Willem, also a tad bit frowny, also not too bad. GUESS WHAT SIM I BASED HIM OFF NETT SRSLY GUESS GUESS. XD XD

(That salmon looks so good right about now :( I had salmon yesterday but a TEENY piece and I want moar...)
Henrik is pretty enthused by this.
(okay seriously he looks good sometimes, but when he smiles his eyes are like ENORMOUS and his mouth is all pointy and the whole effect is very 8D!!!! I promise he's not always this disturbing looking XD)
Willem also seems pleased. And is cute with his freckles d'aww <3
But overall, Serena seemed to get on better with Henrik, I have to say!
When the carpool arrives, Serena toddles off with a grin on her face after her afternoon spent with two charming men. Even the seriously filthy car window can't shake her smile. (Seriously is the carpool driver/schoolbus driver man moonlighting as a very derro rally car driver? I wouldn't be surprised with all this multiplying driver-type personalities... and what else could explain the serious levels of mud)
Another promotion! *cheers* And a crazy blob of pink and blonde hair on some townie wandering past.
And then Serena has a hot date at the diner :3

I would really love to know what is SO SURPRISING about the water in this game, seriously. I mean that expression is SO EXTREME there surely has to be some kind of inside joke or SOMETHING to go with it. Is the water spiked? Does it have an incredibly outrageous flavour™? Is there a cockroach floating in the glass? I HAS TO KNOW EAXIS >:@!!
Well, Serena, he's cute, he's totes in love with you, and he apparently has money - I'd say there's a pretty decent option for a gen7-baby-gravy repository. XD

Whaaa? Time is running out already? Actually eating meals on dates just does not work I swear... it uses up like 2/3rds of the total date and they haven't done anything except chat and stuff their gobs!
So I um... may have made her ask him out on another date XD back to back dating, the new craze?!?!

Unfortunately when they GOT there, for some reason he turned around and walked the three steps off the lot again. HENRIK, WHAT :( unimpressed! BUT, unphased, Serena asked him back over the next morning:
LOL well, this does bode well... and ill at the same time! XD Always good for an heir's partner to want babies, but if Henrik is a family sim - which this certainly suggests - we'll probably end up SWARMING with babies. Which could be a good thing, but could also drive me to tear all my hair out, having just had a set of QUADS and a set of twins at once with the Kreechurs.
Man, if Serena had been a boy heir, there would have been such a GLUT of good townie possibilities for wifeys. So many pretty girls wandering around my neighbourhood. But literally NO even semi attractive guys, hence having to go straight to the playables :/

Um, Henrik? I distinctly recall you mentioning a few frames up that you had $$$ finances. I somehow don't think a measly 2k counts as being rich... Serena kind of comes with a house and furniture already, I guess, so we don't really need the piles of cash. STILL, it would have been a nice perk, and no one likes a fibber! :T
(p.s. Henrik is, as expected, a family sim XD His stats are 3-6-3-7-6, for reference, and his LTW is "reach golden anniversary")
Time to get down to what is of course the primary business of a legacy - makin babbies!
And I guess it was like... really good? Lol! Well full aspiration meters are a good moving-in-together present I guess ;D
I guess it was REALLY REALLY good, because a few minutes later Henrik pops the question!
You guys only started dating, like... yesterday... but I suppose in sim terms that's long enough since you only live ~70-80 days :x
And Serena, despite her romance sim ness, is sufficiently dazzled by the enormous diamond and the smezzy blonde man before her that she accepts.

Another pretty, rather adorably worried-looking townie. I love that hairstyle... need to start using it more on my playables!
So Serena and Henrik have a simple ceremony under a trellis in their back garden, the bride radiant in a flowing organza dress and veil with beads that sparkled in the flickering candlelight~~
So I'm sappy, sue me :P
They did actually have wedding guests and stuff, but none of them made it past the living room for some reason. So they got married just the two of them, which I suppose is rather nice in its own way as well.
Aaaand the wedding vows happened just in time! I guess that celebratory moving-in sexing did the trick first time round, since they haven't had a chance to sleep together again since. Serena got to wear her lovely wedding dress for all of 30 seconds of the wedding party and then spend the rest of it waddling around in this interesting boho purple number.

Ah well, I can't say she exactly looks disappointed about the whole thing! A little nervy perhaps, but that's still a fairly beatific smile happening right there.
Family sim Henrik is unsurprisingly pleased at his impending fatherhood :)

Post honeymoon, life starts to get back into a usual pattern for a new legacy couple...
Yeah, I put Henrik in the dance career track XD LOL. I just love the world famous ballet dancer costumes way too much. Not that Henrik will probably get there, since his LTW is the golden anniversary ones. But honestly all the costumes are pretty lol ;p
Pregnant Serena copes fairly well, but spends a lot of time asleep - not complaining, I think she's very cute sleeping XD

Wow, okay, someone might just like the ballet barre a WEE bit too much O__O That smile is reaching demented levels. I understand that dancing is pretty cool and all, but if you're so thrilled your cheeks are starting to cramp from grinning it might be time to seek professional help.
I missed the second bloomp, but Serena's belly expands and her lovely purple maternity pyjamas make their first (and certainly NOT last, there's some forewarning for you) cameo.
Getting the nursery ready ~~ I tried to clutter, okay, but I seriously just fail XD my rooms ALWAYS look bare. I can spend like two hours trying to make a room look lived in and it will still look crap. Most of the time I just don't try, these days >__<;;
Another promotion, but stepping out of the car into a pile of stinky garbage makes Henrik's yay-promotion face look more eww I ruined my ~jazz ballet~ shoes face.

Sigh, well, here comes utter chaos! XD And probably a bit of a shortage of pics since holy hell four babies? I'm going to have wrinkles just from concentrating so hard on keeping everyone changed and fed...
But here's token introductory pics. My naming theme is of course *drumroll*:

This may pose something of a problem with selecting names for girls, but I don't care XD
The first baby, a little girl, Avery (from American Dad - on the right in the picture... lol I love that episode).
Second, ANOTHER girl (lol it will be pretty hilarious if I have all girls with my naming scheme) this one named Yupa (Nausicaa Valley of the Wind, english dub).
The third quad is... yay a boy! Named, of course, Jean-Luc Picard (Star Trek the Next Generation).
Lastly, another little boy, named Xavier (X-Men movies).
Yeah, they've been in the house all of two seconds, and it's already chaos. Two sims, four babies... this can't end well XD
So they bought a few more cribs in a big rush, called a nanny, put the babies down for a sleep...
And enjoyed the last few moments of adult 'quiet time' they're likely to have for a loooong while...
Henrik: Was that a.... baby jingle I just heard?
Serena: Hmm? Nah... surely not.
They hired a butler to try and help with the childcare, as well as the nanny, but he is pretty much completely useless. His name is Leon and he'll happily FEED the babies, but putting them back in the crib is something apparently just not in his job description. The nanny of course is almost more useless, so the floor is always covered with screaming infants.
But Serena gets another promotion woo ^^
Holy crap... fired over a choice of camp song?! :( Way harsh. Bloody camp director... if you didn't spend every waking minute not at work looking after four kidlets, I'd tell you to go slash her damn tyres Serena :T What a bint.
Serena: *sadfaces*
Gawd :( she was doing so well too... lots of promotions in super quick succession. She looks gutted in a flabbergasted way, and FAIR ENOUGH TOO SRSLY CAMP DIRECTOR DO YOU NEED A BROOM FOR THE SAND IN YOUR COOTER??!

Lol, I guess she's not as cut up about the whole getting fired thing as her gloomy expressions seem to indicate? Crack monkey. I suppose suddenly tripling the size of your family in one go > getting fired?

Before you know it, baby birthday time - in shifts because Serena and Henrik unfortunately don't have four hands each, cool as that would be.

Aww babies are so cute... I should have taken more pics of them :T I always forget, since the babies don't crawl around and get in peoples faces like the toddlers do.

Yep, I still heavily employ pet beds to lighten the parenting load >_> recommended for every slack arse simmer like me ^_^ Also tends to be very cute, as Yupa demonstrates here, reclining all leisurely-like.
Avery has a really sweet, slightly pensive look going on. I normally don't like that hair much either but I think it works really well for her :D
Jean-Luc Picard is also pretty much adorable, though appropriately to the captain of the Enterprise, he is a bit more commanding and sure of himself than his few-minutes older sister.
Actually all four of them are cute! Wow this never happens to me. I bet I just wholly cursed myself now and they'll grow up into drooling, gibbering mutants, but I'll enjoy it while I can.
Xavier, the baby of the babies, has the most interesting outfit and shares that slight bit of anxiousness with Avery :D
