Made an eye doctor appointment for Samara.  She may have a bit of problem with one eye being more dominant than the other which could lead to a lose of sight in the weaker eye if left untreated.  She's also joined the toothless league...lost both bottom front teeth...very proud now.  She has such tiny teeth that it will be interesting to see how ( Read more... )

It's quite tedious to read multiple entries and long ones at that.  I figured if I cut it all up then I wouldn't have to create a cut just to get this all down.

The kids are settling into school.  Tommi, Daniel and Sammi take the bus to and from.  We only live two blocks away, but we're on what is considered a major highway so they get to ride the bus.  Evan walks since it is way faster to hoof the two blocks than it is to add on the extra half hour bus time.  Evan may have a job at Quiznos.  The manager ( Read more... )

With much effort, we made our move from Alabama to Kentucky.  I like it here.  I didn't really mind it in Huntsville either, but Dan wasn't happy and the schools weren't as good as they could be.

I'm working diligently on the first of my kids' afghans.  Now, according to my book I am making the stitch correctly.  According to a tutorial video I am not.  Since I am already 3/4 finished with the third panel, I am going with what I've got.  It looks fine and I can't see pulling out several hours worth of work.  Still, I will try the other way ( Read more... )

We're taking a trip to Virginia in a couple of weeks.  Dan's going for a conference.  His former boss is also setting up an 'interview' for a possible position that would be high paying and in DC.  We'll see how that goes.  I'm looking forward to the trip, although I'll have to have all our bills paid before we go as well as next month's rent.  A ( Read more... )
