Yep, I got all my New Zealand photos sorted and hosted on photobucket now. I've posted them here mostly in thumbnail form. So click below for a massive post with lots of pictures:
Such purdy scenery though. ♥ The mountains & lakes kinda reminds me of the old days when we had to drive through the White Mountains (part of the Appalachian trail).
Does this Alda not drink because she simply doesn't like alcohol, or because she's got the "Asian Flush" like me?
Sounds like you had a lot of fun on your trip though. =) I need to get away myself... but I probably won't be able to go on vacation until next year. Yay...
Gorgeous scenery! The picture of the waterfall is beautiful. And Franz Josef looks fascinating.
I'm guessing that you spent quite some on this trip? *wants to go to NZ but is a poor student with a low holiday budget*
I love horses, but had never ridden one before. Amazingly, controlling a horse in real life is almost exactly like how it's done in PS2's "Shadow of the Colossus!" /geek Did you get to go fast, or did the horses just walk and trot? How sore is your rear? XDDDDD
The waterfall picture is quite nice eh? I had to tune the camera settings a little to get the right colour and exposure brightness. It was actually overcast and raining when I took that picture.
The trip wasn't too expensive. The tickets (return) cost AUD$1100. The bus travel plus accommodation package cost $1000 - pretty good for 15 days. And I reckon I spent about another $1000 on food, activities and shopping.
The horse riding was slow. I felt confident enough to go faster, but I'll have to save that for another day. Rear end wasn't sore. I must have a robust butt.
Yay! Piktarz! I really love the scenery. It really looks like you guys had a blast. And ZOMG you went up a glacier! How was that? I've never done it, but since I am an avid fan of rock climbing and glaciers, it is on my list-- somewhere between winning the lottery and skydiving.

I'm not sure why Alda doesn't drink.
Where would you go on your next vacation?
