I *love* how Ronon keeps interpretating things as 'these people are so kind as to not publicly humiliate me for my sexual inadequacy' and the Atlanteans are totally seeing a different picture.
I kind of wonder whether Ronon is ever going to have a talk with Carson -- the good doctor seems like the one who might catch a clue, if Ronon is worried enough to bring up his supposed infertility. Or, since Carson is the medical cheif, he will probably get all the really *fun* medical issues tossed to him, like conducting Safer Sex classes for the locals.

And maybe Carson got to give The Talk to the Athosians right at the beginning, and they looked at him kind of coldly and said, "Why would we not want to conceive children if the Ancestors decide to grant us such a blessing", very politely with an undertone of "You Earth people are really fucked up sometimes", so they decided to drop the Safer Sex ed. The women of Atlantis are all on the pill, anyway.

The only thing I could think of is that at some point, he's bound to notice that it's not just his Seed that's failing to kindle new life; the problem seems to be universal. So he might go to Carson to ask if there's been a plague or something to cause mass infertility.
