CONGRATULATIONS! I've wondered where you were, and how you were doing. I'm so happy for you! And glad you had the good drugs. Please kiss little Tequila Jane for me.

Thank you so much! I missed hanging around here, and I am glad to be back - now that I am not using all my spare time to worry obsessively over being pregnant!

CONGRATS!

I totally respect women who want a drug-free birth. I do.

I also think they're usually crazy. Drugs, baby. DRUGS.

DRUGS! I love drugs! Especially after several hours of what the nurses liked to call "discomfort" and what I like to call PAIN.

Yay! Congratulations!

And WORD to the epidural. I too wanted to embrace my Goddess Power. Until they broke my water and I really started feeling the contractions.

Pictures, yes please!

Thank you! And I was delighted to catch up on your baby news, now that I am no longer crazy.

The Doctor came in to break my water before they gave me the epidural - and just before she did it, she asked if I was going to have one. I said yes, I thought I had decided to, and she said "Oh then I'll wait to get it in then, no reason to torture you unnecessarily."

That use of the word "torture" really helped me decide!

Yay, congratulations!

And my OB-GYN mother is impressed with your birth plan.

Thank you!

I think my own Dr. liked my birth plan too!
