Now comes the rush to the holiday…to children, it seems like it takes forever until Christmas, but I got news for ya, Kids - it’s a whole lot busier for the grownups, who have to make sure that everything gets done in the process…like fixing up the house, or shopping for presents, or hoping that Santa brings stuff that will work well for the kids ( Read more... )

Um . . . if you're going to the concert with Mere, doesn't that invalidate the "By Myself" clause?

The concert sounds just wonderful. We were able to go to many such events last year (at the Schuster)and I loved taking Mom and Grace. Grace even sat through the entire Messiah. It WAS touch and go from time to time. : )
It is that time of year when kids get antsy...Grace surely is. They never fully appreciate all that goes into the while holiday shebang until they are older...so much work but it is always well worth it to see the happy faces.

I know you will all enjoy having Kurt and John there. Such wonderful times together...

Yep...I miss going to Clifton Mill, the Golden Lamb and Yellow Springs and nosing around the area. *big sigh* That was out big get-together annually in the family since 1953 or so, and I gave it up a few years ago.
