I'm reminded of various menus I've seen where the last page is all in (pick the appropriate East Asian character set) and is not translated. I always wonder what those dishes are like.

I've heard from numerous co-workers that most of the Indian restaurants aren't exactly authentic, either, or at least not compared to what they'd get back home.

I can point to a good and reasonably authentic one in Downer's Grove, not far from me...
