They have made beds at the top of the stairs on the landing .  I must say Mer followed Mere’s lead about bedtime.  She really wanted to stay up longer.

You guys should be so proud of Mere.  She has honestly been great. It has seemed easier than I expected so far.  I asked if she wanted to call and she said no.  I told her we could get the Webcam

I love your stories of Mere, especially when she's with Mer. What great girls. They certainly chose their parents right. :-)

I saw your comment on today's photo. Wouldn't Mer and Mere have the greatest time in the prairie dog tunnel!

By the way, thanks for linking to the magazine story about Mer and Mere in an earlier post. I'd come in right in the middle, so had figured out the backstory from context; I'm glad to have the full and accurate story. (I'd assumed that the girls were twins. They certainly look enough alike to be.)

I had a one-page-with-the-whole-story on the old site, but it hasn't been updated in a LONG time. I need to do that for the new site with the relevant links so that when people ask, I say - see this. Right now, the quickest and least painful way to get the story is the magazine story and the TV show stuff from the ABC news interview. The latter has better visuals and a little newer

What a wonderful email, and just look at the two of them! Talk about happy girls! What great parents you are to make sure this relationship is given so much importance in their lives.

It's loads cheaper than endless therapy for them later. Seriously, they are the ones that push all of this. We just facilitate things.
