gluing in tracing paper

Jun 08, 2009 19:01

I have a drawing on tracing paper that I would like to adhere to my journal. I was wondering what would happen if I glued it in with rubber cement. Would you see the glue through the tracing paper or will it dry clear? If rubber cement is a bad idea for this project, how should I go about adhering tracing paper?

You'll most likely be able to see the rubber cement through the paper. Maybe try a glue stick as it is much less thick/wet/messy. For delicate things, I usually use a piece of tape.

Icon LOVE.

I agree with the glue stick, they always dry clear. Tape works too. :)

I would tape or sew it in...
If you are really thinking about glueing it in I would test it on a different sheet of tracing paper first. that way if it doesn't work the way you want it too it wont ruin it.

I was hoping to not see the adhesive. Or else I would have just used rubber cement from the start. :)
