wow, i haven't posted here in FOREVER...
just a quick note to say that i finally got into the nyc teaching fellows so i'm gonna be a teacher for real!!! i'll be teaching ESL starting in the fall. my grad school starts this summer and i'll start looking for placement at a school around that same time. i'm so excited!!!

i hope everyone had a good thanksgiving! mine was very relaxing. i slept a lot and ate a lot and that was about it. oh, and i saw "happy feet" with elf which was fun. mom and i went to lunch at the restaurant she is working at and sat in her section so she had to wait on us! so mean, but we tipped her well ( Read more... )

the stargate convention was awsome! all the stars (who actually showed up) were great. they all had such interesting things to say and it was just a lot of fun interacting with them. i almost won a small trivia thing because only myself and one other lady knew the answer to a question (yes it involved mckay) but they called on the other lady and ( Read more... )
