If I think it's (marginally) better to do nothing than my best estimate of what will happen if they do grow some balls and pass something, am I better off calling and telling them to wait, or just staying silent?
I lean toward silence, on the theory that any distraction induces a call.
Just so you know: I did try to call both Feinstein and Boxer. I got repeated busy signals for Feinstein and a "mailbox full" for Boxer. But I didn't take your advice to call early, and I wish I had. Maybe I'll call tomorrow.
