Joy, I have to tell you that what you are experiencing in perfectly normal. I would worry if you said Dan was always so understanding, etc. GAG!!! Men do not get it! Jamie on this one has been the best and he still has moments. They are all freaked out by the "I got to provide syndrome" and "how much is the baby going to take away from me syndrome." You can ask Mom about my hubby -- she has seen it first hand. I run this household and it is apparent when I do not feel well. You will see that after you have a child. Anyway, I am glad you feel good--9 more days and you will have some first hand practice. Love, Jen

is it only 9 more days!! holy moly!

i think he does okay. i think we do okay. it's obvious to me always that when we are fighting that it's nothing in comparison to how much we love each other. sometimes while we are fighting i'll just start laughing cause it's so ridiculous really to be so upset over trivial shit, when what's important is being together and in love and blah blah blah. . . . you know what I mean.

9 more days. Yikes.

One more week!!! I wish I could be there for the shower. Say hello to all of your friends. I know exactly what you mean. I am telling you I am more in love with my hubby today than ever before. Even though, we already have 2 children I am excited to see what we produce a third time. If I only have a week, the means you have 9 more weeks. Love, Jen

If you're looking for calcium, protein and fiber . . . anonymous August 17 2005, 01:38:37 UTC
You should come over for dinner and I'll make you quinoa with spinach. it's yummy and has all of those things. Really, I can't get enough quinoa. And the last thing anyone wants is your butt hanging out your ass. That just sounds heinous.

um... we're adopting. i don't care what dave says. i like my innie!

dan is pretty amazing. MOST men can't tell their heads from their asses so pulling them out... not so much an option. i suppose it is pretty hard on them. *pshyeah*

it sounds like you are doing amazingly. i am somewhat watching your progress, even when i don't see you, since my sister is due around the same time as you. it's exciting!

once all this craziness is over (my craziness, not yours. well, yours kinda too) i promise we'll do brunch. or tea or hiking or anything, really, to see you and hang out with you. at the moment I seem to have "man" syndrome - ie I can't tell my head from my ass - but that's only because I'm so busy with stupid deadlines...

OH! I will see you SUNDAY!!!! Dude - that just totally made my day.

:D

Everyone is focusing on how you are doing, but you know nothing is as good as getting a kitchen table. You have a place to sit, eat, and actually talk to each other with out a TV (on or off) staring at you. I love kitchen tables. I can't wait to see it on Sunday...

almost there!! yes_sica August 19 2005, 03:58:00 UTC
WOW! That's so awesome.... not the arguing with Dan, the heartburn, or the possible constipation, but the fact that your new baby is almost fully grown and all he's doing is waiting to come out!!

I'm sure you're anxiously awaiting his arrival as well.

and like Felicia said, there's nothing as wonderful as a kitchen table (is it that awesome yellow one or something different??).

I wish I hadn't missed that Tea and Essences party, it sounded lovely. But I would like to see your new house at some point!
