Dan and I closed on our house last Thursday, 8/4. I took the day off from my lame temp job to receive the bed delivery from Denver Mattress. We had sheets and a mattress pad and we slept in a bed. Aah, tetonic life shiftings, know them well, feel your pain. And yet you still had time to counsel your slightly dramatic big sister. And you are damn good at it too. You make me laugh. I saw my counselor Friday and she was talking about how physical attraction lets off all these endorphins and it is like being on a natural high, and I was like, "that's exactly what my sister said!" I think you may want to pursue some sort of education/training in the counseling field because I think you are a natural. Sumthin' to think about.

Also, what's up with the Mattingly clan and all of our mega-huge life changes of late (last year or so). Jen's doing it, Darren's doing it, I'm doing it, and God knows, you're doing it. I think it must be some weird celestial phase that was going on. But I tell you, I feel a period of calmness for all of us approaching. It's there in my gut. Peace o' mind.
