I suppose the more 'exciting' jobs would be either Scavenging or Adventuring; in either of those you are quite a bit more likely to run into [pen taps] interesting situations than in some other jobs.
It takes practice, though some employ ways to mark each person's writing, and refer back to that as needed.
As a Scavenger you work in the scrapyard, and are liable to run into golems--that is, large creatures made up of junk. They are fiercely territorial, but slow and somewhat clumsy. Even someone who has little knowledge of fighting can survive working down there if they remember to pay attention to what is going on around them.
As an Adventurer, you will be required to explore the Wilderness, an area of Edensphere that changes roughly three times a month. Sometimes there are dangerous Wildernesses; sometimes they are perfectly safe. Most frequently, they are relatively safe if, like in the scrapyard, one merely keeps one's wits about oneself, and does not act foolishly.
Adventuring is pretty cool, we've got different divisions who handle different stuff. I'm under Fangy in Armed Response and Combat. I can talk to him for you if you want.
I'll meet you at the elevator, do you got your map?

Slow and clumsy. Don't sound like much.

The Sphere does look strange at first but it's not always a bad thing.
