i missed my laptop
Yay, I have a laptop again, as well as a sunburn. Yesterday I met up with some local doll collectors for coffee. Lexie is commissioning me to do the lips on her custom doll and bought me a latte. computers suck
So my laptop's backlight doesn't work anymore. The display is there, but I can barely see anything because there is no light. So I might be on infrequently until I get it fixed. I'm using the school computer right now and it feels so awkward. And I don't want to be at school on a summer Saturday, lol! Going to the Apple store today. I love Macs ( Read more... ) -

I got a call from Lindamood-Bell Learning Co., and they want to see me in person next Monday for a casual interview. :) She said that there probably won't be a need for fulltime since the afternoon shifts aren't in demand, but I said I'd be happy to work mornings. I have to write every day. Preferably working on a novel, but fanfic counts because it's better than nothing. :)
I've tried to do this before and sometimes succeeded for awhile, but things got in the way. Now I have no excuse. -

Well, I finished two of my classes. One I definitely won't finish; the fourth is still up in the air depending if I can get my act together by Wednesday. I think I will. This morning I started looking for jobs, and it's a much more promising market than it was the last time I was looking, back in '08. These are jus a few of the ones I found.

stupid technical question
SO sometimes when I save a gif to my computer and then upload it on LJ, the animation will play automatically on the screen. But other times, it will just show up as a still and you have to click on the image and be taken to its LJ gallery place, where the animation does finally play. How can I get the animation to play right away in my post? I' ( Read more... )
