I return from the cinema (Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy - excellent, highly recommended!) to find the news in my mailbox that my beloved Garrow's Law has been axed.
While I’m aware that the source for this devastating news is The Sun and therefore everything has to be taken with at least four grains of salt, I still have to say

I was already contemplating how I'd manage when Andrew Buchan disappeared back into obscurity as Richard II (on stage at the Donmar) closes tonight. Now it seems I have no Garrow to look forward to either. I too am very disappointed at the failure of the BBC to recognise the quality of their own programmes.

Why would he? He's one of Britain's most hopeful young actors; I have no doubt that we'll hear and see a lot more of him. :)
I'm very angry with the BBC, because their reasons are so completely stupid. I wish they'd stop being one-trick ponies. It's not like the ratings for Garrow's Law were bad - they were by far better than most of the rubbish they churn out every week!

By "disappearing into obscurity" I was referring to his apparent desire to be incognito. Prior to GL3 airing & Richard II he was only seen at 2 public events last year (& at the second of these - the BAFTAs - he was anonymously described as "Amy's guest")! Furthermore only a handful of Joe Public tweeters recognised him elsewhere!
Apart from COBS there is nothing on the horizon (that we know about) and he doesn't appear to employ any agent to publicize anything that he does do! (Unlike Amy who has agent, publicist & Twitter to keep everyone informed.) Hence my despair!

Despair not; I'm absolutely convinced that we'll soon hear about a new project. :)

Lego is for serious cases. For everything else, there's Duplo.

Today Mark Pallis tweeted that he has many more cases up his sleeve - so what about it!
You could even offer it to another network - I'm sure ITV or Channel 4 would be only too pleased to get 5 million viewers!
