POTC 4: Pirate in a Pickle

Dec 09, 2010 07:46

I'd loved to post some screencaps of a rather disheveled looking Gillette and Groves, but the footage in the ET special was just too short to take screencaps. Well, the trailer will be out within a couple of days, maybe I'll have more luck then.

For now, here's a pirate in a pickle, though I post the picture for reasons of uniform-love rather than ( Read more... )

Any day that starts with looking at Johnny over my computer-breakfast can't be too bad... means there was some point in getting out of bed after all. :-D

(All trains from here to Glasgow appear to be cancelled due to weather - again - so I'm still wondering when I'm ever going to see my college again.)

Here's something for your computer dinner then. :)

I think Blackbeard looks awesome.

I've seen pictures of the winter wonderland you're currently caught in - wow! Call if you need a sleigh and a couple of reindeers...

Mmm...mmm...mmm...MMMM. Yummy! You know, I think I might even have to go see this one in the cinema.

And I like Penelope Cruz too.

*mops up drool*

I think I could be doing with Queen Jadis's carriage, thanks. :-D

It's time the fashion gurus would stop the 60ies/70ies revival (and steer very clear of the 80ies!) and have a look at the 18th century. Imagine how much brighter our days would be if there were fewer tracksuits and more breeches! :-D

*sighs* Whyever did they stop making uniforms like that?
And why is it that contemporary fashion bores me to death but give me things that have been out of fashion for two hundred years and I start drooling?
(Also, Captain Jack's being at his most unhelpful, eh? ^^)

Either because they hate women OR because men today would look like complete gits wearing them.

And why is it that contemporary fashion bores me to death

Because you're a woman of great taste, that's why. :*

It's a great Jack-picture; just perfect. Tells all about him you need to know. :)
