The nice thing about a maker fair is that is provides a bridge between the artsy-crafsty folks and the techy-tinkery folks. Used to be this was a pretty sharp divide, but there is a growing realization that creativity is where you find it, and making stuff is making stuff. There's a ways to go yet, of course; it was obvious that the gender divide
