There's a baby in my house.

I feel kind of like Scotty in Star Trek IV going, "Admiral! There be whales here!"

celticdragonfly and selenite descended on us on Monday evening, bringing baby Jamie and a host of baby accoutrements, such as the Baby Jamie (tm) high chair, the Baby Jamie (tm) door gate, and the Baby Jamie (tm) baby corral. The kid has more accessories

We had an absolutely lovely time.

Jamie has all those accessories with him so that you can remember his visit by them - and NOT remember his visit as "the time when Jamie broke THAT, and THAT, and tumbled down the stairs and needed an ER visit, and then broke this other thing..."

Much more fun this way.

Oh, it was self-interest at work. When the ER staff recognizes you it's a warning that a little more caution is in order. Fortunately neither of the younger two seem likely to take over Brendan's "Runs With Scissors" nickname.

And it let us have a wonderful, wonderful time visiting you.
