So I finally got around to finishing up Battlestar Galactica. About two years ago, I said that if my sci-fi show got hijacked by gods, and turned into prophecy-driven fantasy, I would be most put out.
For me it was the bit where everyone agreed to send the fleet into the sun, split up and breed with savages so they could disapear as a civilization that was... well, really dumb but done well enough to somehow not *completely* tank

Yeah, that got to me, too. You can't get me to believe that 36,000+ people would all agree on what to have for breakfast, let alone...that.
I like science fiction and wanted to see more real Cylons (metal outisde and red eyes) but it would have been OK if there had been an over all story arc that was consistent and logical.
Why were humans and Cylons fighting when you couldn't determine any difference between them? Why were battles in outer space done within 5000 meters of each other. Didn't they have radar and long range lazers and missles? And on and on........
I could forgive all of that though because the graphics were great and I liked the characters for the most part, but, I would have preferred that they were put into a really good story arc.
The fact that they generated the show was great but they should have ran the story lines by Joyce first!
