Gotta love the Sweedish Chef

A very nice day off. Started with brunch on a patio with some friends. Then boring chore stuff like laundry and groceries. I cooked some nice food. Read a little. Watched a couple episodes of The Gilmore Girls. Went for a walk in the setting sun. Now I'm going to veg on the couch until bedtime.

Still stressed about finding work. There's nothing out there. That is not good.

I'm also trying very hard NOT to plan a trip to Australia. Because I don't have the job to earn the money to go.

It's all very boring.

I seem to have named my raspberry plant "Pete". I carry him out to the porch in the morning, bring him in to the sunny windowsill when the sun goes around the house. And I put the radio on because music helps plants grow.

I need a cat.

I'm on the 6pm to midnight shift today, so I figured, since I have the day, I'd get all of my chores out of the way so I can have a real day off tomorrow ( Read more... )

We complain about the draughts all winter in this 100-year-old school building, but it means that on this damp spring day, with threatening thunderstorms, I can smell the rain.

I just dug out the cable that connects my camera to my computer. It turns out that I took 1,889 photos in Thailand in two weeks. Wow.
