Pseudo-Update...

I'm fine. I've just been preoccupied with a lot of things recently. Aiko and I have joined a LARP, so we went shopping last night for a few things. Hopefully we have almost everything. Oh wait, she has to shop for shoes...It'll be fun though. I get a cane. *eyes unsuspecting bystanders ( Read more... )

LARPs are fun, but I've known people who went too far into charactor and ended up going off the deep end ~_~

Yeah...see, and I don't intend to do that. I have too many other things to lose myself in. *giggle* But I've seen it too.

*giggle* Yup! Exactly! So long as you always remember that it is a hobby and not a lifestyle. ;-) RL is RL. Fantasy is fantasy.
Oh yes, I am a vampire...really... -_-;;;

I know, right? I'm on the other end of that bible belt that we were on in TX. ;-; Sad thing is, Joel and I make no lies that we're Catholic, and we attend church JUST to visit with friends afterwards, and while we're respectful, they KNOW we aren't worshiping as the worship... and they're OKAY with this. I guess this half of the bible belt is a little more accepting. Most of our friends are very devout, which makes me feel a little uncomfortable when I think about it... but you just don't think about it when you're AROUND them, you know? Just... when you're apart. *shrugs* Anyway, I'm rambling. Yes, think of me, and pick up a nice crystal if anything clicks with you!

Sure thing!!! If I do, you'll have to send me your addy, k?

I did that whole not quite devout thing too, but *shrugs* I have my reasons for leaving the faith, not that I blame any who stay.

I think maybe certain towns are more accepting. Certain suburbs. Glad to know you're in a more accepting area.

There's a metaphysical fair in Denver this weekend. I'm not sure if we're going. Something is telling me we're supposed to, but I highly doubt we'll find whatever it is I'm supposed to find. So, if we're not going to, then why spend the money?

hehe Welcome to my world Umeka-san ^^;;
Theirs a town in PA (its a bit of a driving distance away, 2 hours or so) called New hope. they have ALOT ofmetaphysical bookstores, supplies and as my dad called it "pagan happy hippie town" X3 each time I go there and to the huge flea market I'm like OMG I have limited monmey I know I'm going to find something >.> true enough it always happens and then I whoop myself mentally for being poor ._. but its one of those (to quote the jungle book) "if you find that you can live without it, you'll go along not thinking about it" ;) its kinda true too ^^;; Either way :) hope you and Akio-san have fun ^^ ne?

*laughs* yeah, see, that's the problem...I don't know what I want to find and even if I were to find it, doesn't mean I can get to it. Meh...I'll have to see how things go...

Troy and I went to the metaphysical fair last year and came away fairly disappointed... Seemed to be just a lot of crap and not a lot of substance. Perhaps I expect too much? Where is this one? I might not have to actually work all weekend...

Denver Merchandise Mart.
Still debating. How disappointed I get is determined by what I happen to be looking for. I probably expect too much also.

There's the site for it. It's down at the Merchandise Mart. Location isn't the issue, but if you think about going tomorrow, know that there are a lot of road closures downtown for the St. Patrick's Day parade. Don't know if it'll affect your transit or not.
