i try my best to hide in the crowded room

As with every year, I want to buy a maxi dress. I will of course never wear a maxi dress anywhere in public as they are wildly impractical for a person like myself who has terminal clumsiness and a life that involves climbing stairs. But oh I want one. Boooo modern life! Why will you not enable me to have flowing floral skirts?

I also wish to buy a maxi dress, but I can never find one that will fit my figure D:

Woe is us!

I'm not sure I've ever even got as far as trying one on to see if it suits me! Maybe I'll do that today. I do still have £100 in vouchers I can use in New Look...

I tend to be too short for them.

I am not sure there are any situations in life for which I am too short. I don't thin of you as short though! Are you? How tall are you?

I heart them. I want to unearth mine for this summer, but everything I wear this year needs to be hike-up-able for boob access, and...well, yes.

Personally I choose all my clothes for ease of boob access but that's just because I'm an exhibitionist.

I think it is because you're a hobag.

Get one anyway. I love 'em, and I fall over all the time.

Will it not just further ensure my falling over though? Or just general sartorial embarrassment? I pretty consistently get my dress stuck in my knickers or caught on banisters or suchlike as it is; I can't help but feel the likelihood of that happening is drastically increased because of the volume of fabric!

I love maxi dresses, but they're a) too long for me, b) likely to make me fall down, and c) really wrong for my body unless carefully draped. However, I try a couple on every spring just in case a and c are magically fixed.

I am totally planning on trying some on at Target. I always want one, even if they look moronic on me.

See, I lean towards buying one just for swooshing around my flat. I do have a few items of clothing that never see the light of day but are too awesome to never be worn, so I wear them when I have nowhere to go and then sit on my balcony reading and feeling like a princess.

Gosh, I'm cool.
