It's spring, which must mean it's time for another fabulous Burnley & Trowbridge workshop! I really missed attending these workshops: while I was in Colorado last year I missed out on the polonaise workshop I'd been begging and pleading for.

Williamsburg's Milliner Shop
I LOVE the Milliner shop in Williamsburg. I've been very lucky to have met most of the ladies from the Milliner shop at various workshops I've attended. Completed French Hood

Coming Back Home
So Dave and I spent some time thinking over our decision, and we've decided it's time to move back to the East Coast. Dave and I have decided that the Suffolk, Virginia area will probably suit us best. It's affordable, near the beach, near Williamsburg, near fair sized cities, and near our family. What to do?
So as many of you know, almost a year ago my husband and I decided to break away from my job, and move to Colorado in an attempt to improve our qualify of life. I took a year's leave of absence from my work as a saftey net, so we could come back in case everything didn't work out.

Aaah!! I have such a sewing bug...
...and yet I'm not sewing. Why, you ask? Well, half of my sewing stuff is put away in storage, and the other half is very badly arranged in my parents' basement. I had everything I needed to start my new civil war gown...and then I went to take my measurements in my corset and the darned thing didn't fit.
