I agree, Buffalo has some kind of attractive force that seems to hold its citizens within the city limits, but I think that leaving this city for college isn't linked with leaving altogether, since there are just as many college graduates who come back here to work because our cost of living ain't too high. If you want to leave Buffalo, then you're gonna leave, I think it's really that simple. The only people who are "sucked in" are those who never really wanted to leave to begin with, they just feel they need an excuse to stay.
