Hilarious!

"I still think you would have been a better girl," Clark said grumpily. "You're all willowy and stuff."
LOL! So true, Clark.

Great last line.

Oh my gosh, what an awesome birthday present! I laughed at the image of Clark in a Victorian dress, especially future Clark. I'd love to know how he pulled of looking like a girl, and even more how he lost that battle in the first place. That would have been an epic argument. *g*

The other two time periods were fantastic. I love Clark worrying about killing something important - their trip to the 31st century, was that Clark's answer? As my memory is that in comics canon at least, there were people in that time period, not giant bugs?

Oh, and I loved Clark's answer to Lex's implied question at the end. Great story. Thank you so much for writing it for my birthday. You are super!

*g* Very carefully and with much skill? (And a lot of "coaching" from Lex...? *coughs*) But, uh, in actuality really very poorly (pats Clark on the head). Ah, well -- better luck next time! (sorry, couldn't resist! *eg*) ...As to the 'how' of the choice, Clark informs me it eventually came down to a coin toss. (Lex is silent on the issue of whether it was rigged somehow, though Clark's glare says it all, I think. *g*) Pretty sure the -real- argument came later ;)

Oh, sorry about that -- that was supposed to be the ("new") present! (fixed it ^_^) Clark's pretty ineffective at making Lex stay still long enough that a rescue might materialize, unfortunately, and we all know that neither of them are very good at standing by and depending on others to help them out ;) Clark didn't really have a say in the jumps since Lex was the one who knew the magic better between the two of them (...for various nonstandard values of "better" *g*) and of course Lex would be sure he'd get it right (back to their time) on every next try ( ... )

I loved this I could just see Lex's smile in the first one, and Clarks exasperation throughout was hysterical and the tag line is perfect.

I love it...*g*
