So, as of last night, I am on vacation. The only thing that would make me happier would be if I could have Christmas week off, but I'll take what I can get. Rock on!

Hello, all. I am back (sorta). Trying to gear up for Christmas, but have seemed to sputter and stop. We have a tree, but it's not decorated. I have bought almost all the presents on my list, but none of them are wrapped or mailed. I have Christmas cards and addresses, but have not filled out a single one.

Am positively exhausted. But in a good way. Dropped off my Jeep this morning to get it overhauled. Now, it no longer runs rough and growls like a 6-cylinder should. Vroom!

Also, JP took me to lunch at Benihana's and then to see The Holiday (cute movie BTW...Jude Law is so dreamy, even JP wants to marry him. LOL!!!). Afterwards, we had ice cream! ( Read more... )

Have begun celebrating birthday by buying some music on iTunes. Mmm, Loreena McKinnett, The Fray, and Air Supply. Yis.

The good news continues in that the estimate for servicing my Jeep is lower than I thought (assuming they don't find anything horribly wrong with it, of course). *knocks wood*

So, Saturday, after a full day's work, I went out with the gang. I loved Swig. I loved the dark panelling and the jazz music and the kick-ass dirty vodka martinis. Unfortunately, the gang hated the pricey drinks and pretentious crowd, so after a while we went to another club. Still, all in all, had a good time and was careful not to drink too much.
