Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has made a shock exit from the London club.

A club statement said the self-styled "Special One" had left by "mutual consent".

He is reported to have sent text messages to players John Terry, Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba wishing them "good luck in the rest of your career".

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has been arrested and cautioned after refusing to let police put his pet dog Gullit into quarantine.

An dog warden from Westminster City Council is trying to track down the Yorkshire terrier, which Mr Mourinho set loose so it could escape from officers.
