Intro Post - Kaylee arrives at Oxford

 Kaylee had been re-hauling Serenity's engines yet again, when she suddenly felt everything go black. When she woke, she thought she must have hit her head, and was now dreaming.

In his time at Oxford, Ed had gotten rather used to finding people hanging around the entrance to college looking rather lost. "Hey!," he called out as he walked toward Kaylee, Gisela, his daemon following at his heels, "You looking for the college?"

Best to catch her before she said something that caught the attention of the Magisterium, afterall.

"College? Is that where we are?" she said, with a smile, even though she looked rather confused. "I was on my ship, in the black of space, and then I'm suddenly here."

She offered him her hand, and another big smile. "I'm Kaylee, and this is Mack."

"Space- you mean- er, sorry, I'm Ed," he replied, shaking her hand, "Look, as much as I'd love to ask you about spaceships right now, you shouldn't say things like that in public around here."

Kaylee looked even more confused. "Why not? What is this place?"

Mack nudged her leg. "Maybe we should listen to him, and talk about this somewhere less public"

"I am not entirely sure how it is we have come to be here, and I believe the reason has yet to be revealed to us." L said, and he turned to stare down at Ed. "Perhaps you are better suited to answer her questions, being the one of us who has been here the longest."
