Pakistan is always so funny to me because of what you mentioned. Yeah, they let the Taliban in on the border but there is so much instability in the nation that it would be stupid to fight them ( ... )

We do need to do more than we are doing in terms of putting pressure on Pakistan, because as long as they let Al Qaeda operate in their Northwest and do not let us operate there against them, Al Qaeda has an Inviolable Sanctuary, and we can't prosecute the war to a decisive victory. The difficult thing is to put enough pressure on the regime to make it yield, but not so much that it breaks and the fundamentalists come to power.
