I was very sad to hear this as well.

On the one hand, if I had a loved one in such a situation, in my heart I'd want to have them safely back, no matter what. On the other hand, as you said, all this type of giving in does is guarantee that it will happen again. MORE people are going to suffer.

We must stand up to these murdering bullies, regardless of personal cost. It's horrible, all the way around. But there's really no other choice.

Korea's not a bad place for a reserve brigade or three--but I'm all for redeploying down to Pusan.

In a world in which reality magically altered by changing the words you used to describe it, you would be correct.

Unfortunately, you don't live in such a reality. Neither does South Korea.
