Pakistan Delenda Est

America and India now apparently have intelligence proving that the Pakistani ISI, which effectively controls the Pakistani Army, was behind the Mumbai attacks. Pakistan is utterly refusing to cooperate with Indian demands for extradition even of the TERRORISTS behind the attack, let alone of the government officials ( Read more... )

Hope India wipes out Pakistan's nuclear capabilities then. If India does the job, the US won't have to...

edit: good morning?

The Pakis are not our friends; never have been. OTOH, we won't do anything of substance to them, since the troublemakers there are Muslims---and Muslims are the Holy Anointed O-man's brothers. (According to him.)

Wouldn't be the first allies Obama threw under the bus.

Mmmm... Yep, you're right. Since his Muslim "brothers" recently threw HIM "under the bus" (showing their true colors in their attitude about "people of color") he may not be as anxious to suck up to the Muslims as he once was.

We can only hope---

How interesting this is, another Clancy scenario potentially coming to life (Carrier: A Guided Tour of an Aircraft Carrier, Feb 1999). He mentioned India and Pakistan "going nuclear" in one of his "potential problem" shorts, but didn't think it would happen until 2015. He also theorised everyone would essentially abandon the two rogue nuclear-armed nations after the exchange.

Whether the rest of his scenarion materialises depends on Sri Lankan geology...

India will have to strike first, and hard, or they might pay as dearly if the Pakistanis have a chance for a retaliatory strike.

In the context of Pakistan shielding the 9-11 suspects, or at the very least being unwilling to make the effort to drive Al Qaeda and the Taliban out of their own territory, Pakistan's aggression against India is close to suicidal. The fact that the Pakistani government can't get enthusiastic cooperation from their own army, intelligence services and population in driving out the Terrorists, in a situation where they are facing severe chastisement at best, annihilation at worst, for not doing so, shows that the Pakistani government represents a thin veneer of sanity on top of a deep seething well of madness.

India will have to strike first, and hard, or they might pay as dearly if the Pakistanis have a chance for a retaliatory strike.Absolutely, which is why I urge India to execute a full counterforce first strike, and not to be shy of using nuclear weapons if they don't think that their conventional force can take out the Pakistani nuclear arsenal. Pakistan has just enough strength to sting India horribly if India doesn't take ( ... )
